Vanja Bazdulj - Object Design - Milan 2011
First time in Milan was at first a bit freight-full but all in all super exciting and as it turns out very fruitful. I'm happy I decided to go and the Designersblock team was great.
The amount of useful information and knowledge buzzing around the expo space is amazing and is possibly the best crash course on how to be a starting-out designer today.
I was lucky to meet amazing designers all around me at Ventura Lambrate and share the experience and the long hours of the 6 day fair.
(and the Italian food + good parties helped)
The Italian fair scene seams more quiet and visiting people like to be left alone, as from London I remember chit-chatting much more.
Its mostly an exposure fair, lots of press and gooood visitors, and if you're just lucky enough ... more.
My Rough&Ready furniture collection was ready for Milan and we had an amazing time. MrSoft and MsMarine will be flying overseas with Anthropologie!
